My name is Claudia Ammirata

In my artistic journey, I delve into the ephemeral, the transient, and the shadows that exist within beauty. My creative exploration focuses on the temporary condition of life, memory, the essence of femininity, sensuality, nostalgia, and spirituality.

Thoughts hidden in my subconscious are the result of profound losses such as the sudden death of the father of my 3 boys and the acceptance of my oldest son's challenging mental health condition.

These experiences have impacted my sensibility and my photography in a way that allows me to perceive the world in a different context, where tragedy intertwines with beauty, and where sensitivity blooms amidst adversity.
